Taxiwaala, a winsome album!

Vijay Deverakonda starrer ‘Taxiwaala’ is all set to hit the screens Nov 17. The film’s music is out. It has music composed by Jakes. The album consists of four songs.
Ladies and Gentleman
Hema Chandra starts the album with a bubbly number ‘Ladies and Gentleman’. The song is all about the protagonist's aim to go with the flow. Lyrics of the song are contemporary. The song has a fun theme and is easy on the ears.
Maate Vinaduga
Song of the album is ‘Maate Vinduga’. This song does not take one minute to register on you as it has this magical essence which is the crowd puller. Singer Sid Sriram is in his elements as his soothing singing makes this song instantly likeable. This number will be a bigger rage once you see the romantic visuals.
Crazy Car
Perhaps, the weakest song in the album, there is nothing special about Crazy car as it deals with all the difficulties that the car puts the main hero through. Tune wise, orchestration-wise, there is not much that music composer Jakes Bejoy can do to this song.
Neeve Neeve
This is another good number. ‘Neeve Neeve’ is a heartbreaking song which is crooned by Shreya Ghoshal. The premise is very simple and the lyrics only make the song get a good effect. Shreya Ghoshal's singing is what makes the situation better.
Bottom Line:
When you attempt different thrillers which are concept based, it is very difficult to give commercially viable songs as the content is the king and there are not many situations for the musician to play around. Music director Jakes Bejoy does his best and churns two good numbers in the form of ‘Maate Vinaduga’ and ‘Ladies and Gentleman’. Overall, a decent album.
