Netflix's Baahubali: Mrunal as Sivagami

A web series based on 'Baahubali' is being made. Titled 'Baahubali: Before the Beginning', the series will be streamed on Netflix. This web series will focus on the life of 'Sivagami' that was originally played by Ramyakrishna in the film. The cast of the series was announced today.

Mrunal Thakur will essay the role of Sivagami in the series. The series, based on Anand Neelakantan's book, is being directed by our Telugu directors Praveen Sattaru and Deva Katta. Rajamouli's will be the director's supervision.
The series will also feature Rahul Bose as Skandadasa, Atul Kulkarni, Vaquar Shaikh, Jameel Khan, Siddharth Arora and Anup Soni in other roles.

Season one of the series will have nine episodes and captures Sivagami's journey from a rebellious and vengeful girl to a wise and unequalled queen. Arka Media Works and director SS Rajamouli are producing it.
