Lyca Productions the production house that made  Superstar Rajinikanth and Shankar's magnum opus '2.0' says staggering one million tickets were sold out on BookMyShow website for the first weekend. This is HUGE.

The production house claims that most of these one million tickets booked are for the first day itself. The film is releasing in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages across the country in record 6500 screens.

'2.0' hits theaters tomorrow (Nov 29). The film features Amy Jackson as female robot and Akshay Kumar as villain. A R Rahman has composed the songs.
