A film on famous student activist George Reddy

George Reddy was most influential student leader in Andhra Pradesh politics. An icon for many students and leftists, George Reddy inspired the 70’s youth with his revolutionary thoughts and ideology. He was brutally murdered in his hostel dormitory in Osmania University in 1972.
Tammareddy Bharadwaj’s ‘Alajadi’ was partly based on his life. An official film on his life is now being made.
Jeevan Reddy of ‘Dalam’ fame is now directing the movie with Sandeep Kumar essaying George Reddy’s role. The film titled ‘George Reddy’ is being produced by Appi Reddy and Damu Reddy. Sudhakar Reddy Yekkanti (Sairat fame) is handling the cinematography.
