Srikanth Addala has been trying to secure a project ever since his 'Brahmotsavam' bombed in 2016. Although his detractors wrote him off, the maker of family entertainers has been determined.

However, he seems to have faced a setback. Till the other day, Addala was almost sure that Sharwanand would green lit his project. However, the 'Padi Padi Leche Manasu' actor has made another choice. He is set to be working in the remake of the Tamil movie '96', opposite Samantha.

The latest we hear about Addala is that he is trying to sell a script titled 'Kuchipudi Vaari Veedhi', an off-beat romantic drama.
