Big corporate companies are vying to bag the rights of S S Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’, Tollywood’s highest budgeted movie ever, even before the film completes 10 percent of its shoot. The movie that features NTR and Ram Charan as the lead stars has just begun its second schedule.

Zee TV that is aggressively snapping movies for satellite and online streaming has offered Rs 150 Cr to producer DVV Danayya to close the deal.  This deal is for the film’s Telugu, Tamil and Hindi satellite rights and also for its music rights. This is a huge money for a Telugu movie.

Zee TV recently bagged Tamil, Hindi and Telugu satellite rights of Superstar Rajiniknath and Shankar’s for Rs. 110 crore Zee is now offering Rs 40 Cr more to Rajamouli’s movie. However, our sources say producer Danayya is refusing to ink the deal as he demands Rs 200 Cr. Negotiations are still on but it remains to be seen at what price the deal would be closed.
