Yatra, a film based on life and political journey of Late Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy, has obtained censor clearance from the CBFC. The board didn’t suggest a single cut as no objectionable dialogue or scene were found despite the film is being a biopic about a political personality. Starring Malayalam acting legend Mammootty as YSR, the biopic will hit the screens on February 8, 2019.

Directed by Mahi V Raghav, it is being released just before the Andhra Pradesh assembly elections. Buzz is that YS Jagan, YSR’s son and Andhra Pradesh’s opposition leader, will be attending the movie’s pre-release event that is to be held in the first week of February.
