'Yatra' starring Mammootty took decent openings on day one. The film has raked in about Rs 2.5 Cr on day one with Ceded area performing exceptionally well. Though the film's premiere collections in USA were not that great, it opened to positive talk in AP and Telangana. Made on modest budget and producers released the movie on their own, it needs Rs 12 Cr to be declared as a hit.

Box-office performance on Saturday and Sunday will decide its overall fate. On the other hand, director Mahi V Raghav thanked all for the good response.
