Actor Kaushal Manda who won the title of Bigg Boss Season 2 is now taking a plunge into politics. Kaushal who hails from Vizag city is seeking a ticket from Telugu Desam party for the surrounding constituencies of Vizag city in the ensuing general elections.

Andhra Pradesh’s assembly elections will be held along with Loksabha Polls this April. Several Tollywood film personalities, majority of them hail from Andhra Pradesh, are going to test their luck in these elections.

Kaushal belongs to Kapu community. Anakapalli, Gajuwaka and other assembly constituencies have higher percentage of Kapu voters, say political analysts. Hence, Kaushal thinks that his popularity will help him in his community voters. Will Telugu Desam party finalize his candidature?
