The regular shoot of 'Sye Raa' is under progress in Hyderabad. A romantic song on Megastar Chiranjeevi and Tamannah was just canned. The latest update from the sets we got to know is that the team is now holding discussions with a TOP actress for another key role. She has already agreed to play the role but negotiations regarding remuneration are going on.

Our sources said an official announcement will come out later this week once she signs on the dotted line. There were reports that Shruti Haasan has been consulted for this role but our sources have denied any such development. This top actress will not play opposite Megastar Chiranjeevi, it is for a key role in the story.

‘Sye Raa’ features Megastar Chiranjeevi in the role of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, an independent ruler who led rebellion against British authorities in Kurnool region in 1840’s. Nayanthara is playing the role of his wife, while Tamannah has also been paired up with him.

The period patriotic drama has huge cast consisting of Bollywood legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, Vijay Sethupathi and Sudeep. Amit Trivedi is composing the music. Produced by Ram Charan with whopping budget of Rs 200 Cr, it is directed by Surender Reddy. The film is slated for release in the second half of 2019.
