Many biopics on Jayalalithaa are being made now. One biopic stars Nithya Menen and it is titled ‘The Iron Lady’. Now, Kangana is doing another movie based on Jayalalithaa’s life. She is all set to portray Jayalalitha, the legendary actress turned politician who served as chief minister for Tamilnadu for six terms.  

Titled ‘Thalaivi’ in Tamil and ‘Jaya’ in Hindi, this film will be Directed by A.L. Vijay. The film will be written by K.V. Vijayendra Prasad, the writer of ‘Baahubali’, and it will be produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri under the banner of Vibri Media.
