Sai Dharam Tej needs a hit badly. His last six movies were duds. He has pinned all his hopes on ‘Chitralahari’ that is hitting the screens today. Sai Dharam Tej who grew thick beard for this movie says his character is quite relatable. “Youth will definitely identify with my role. I have tried to portray the character as naturally as possible. And tried to present myself as a cool guy, far cry from my mass image,” he said.

‘Chitralahari’ is directed by Kishore Tirumala of ‘Nenu Sailaja’ fame and produced by leading production house Mythri Movie Makers. The film also starred Kalyani Priyadarshan of ‘Hello’ fame and Nivetha Pethuraj.

Devi Sri Prasad has given three catchy songs. Summer holidays are advantage for Sai Teju to score a hit. Hope this puts Sai Tej’s career back on track. Interestingly, this script was okayed by Megastar Chiranjeevi who is known for assessing a movie’s script perfect.
