Sai Dharam Tej starrer ‘Chitralahari’ has posted very good numbers in its opening weekend. $240k (Rs1.65 Cr) came from USA in its opening weekend and this is Sai Dharam Tej’s best collection here in his entire career.

Generally, $240k opening weekend is not considered as best collection for middle-range heroes but no film in Sai Dharam’s career collected this amount so far. This is profitable film for its USA distributor. Prior to ‘Chitralahari’, all Sai Dharam’s movies bombed at USA market.

Directed by Kishore Tirumala, the film had Nivetha Pethuraj and Kalyani Priyadarshan as female lead. Music is by Devi Sri Prasad. For Sai Dharam Tej, this has come as a boost to his career as he has been going through worst phase. It should help him get back in track.
