Varun Tej, the uber cool star who has mostly played urban characters, is now switching into a grey role. Posting the new look of this character, he declared that he is "treading a new path!"

Sporting earring and the heavy stubble beard, he looks quite different in this getup. Directed by Harish Shankar, 'Valmiki' is loosely based on Tamil movie 'Jigarthanda'. Harish is said to have done lot of changes to the original Tamil movie.
