NGK trailer offers nothing new to Telugu folks

The theatrical trailer of Suriya starrer ‘NGK’ is out. Going by the trailer, the movie seems to be a political drama. When entire political system has turned into a rut, a youngster named ‘Nanda Gopala Krishna’ aka NGK decides to take into the plunge. This may appeal to Tamil audiences due to the political scenario in Tamilnadu.

But the trailer itself gave déjà vu feeling to Telugu audiences. Such stories are nothing new to us. Even the dialogues uttered by Sai Pallavi (Swatantram ante British valla nunchi lakkoni politicians ki icchinatlaindi) are so beaten to death.

Suriya who is one of the most popular Tamil stars in Telugu states has been doing clichéd movies of late. Selva Raghavan aka Sri Raghava’s latest flick too offers nothing new. The film stars Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh as the female lead.
