Weekend B.O report: Hippi and Seven flop

Last week’s releases ‘Hippi’ and ‘Seven’ sank without trace. There were no expectations on ‘Seven’ as its lead hero Havish has no proven market. Whereas ‘Hippi’ carried high expectations as its lead hero Kartikeya declared that this film will be 10 times bigger than his previous hit ‘RX100’. And the song ‘Evathive’ also topped the chartbuster. Trade expected massive openings for this movie but it is a total disaster at the box-office.
 
Kartikeya’s next films will face tough situation to sell the rights to the distributors. With such pathetic openings, he has brought his market down.
 
The summer holidays have ended on a very bad note. Except ‘Maharshi’, no film gave relief to the exhibitors.
