Filmmaker Maniratnam has been discharged from Apollo hospitals. He was been monitored for cardiac problems.

People close to him have said that the director is fine now and is back to work. Fans need not worry, all is well with the director. 

Hospital sources say that it was nothing but routine check-up. His last release was Nawaab. Very soon the director will be teaming up with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
