Team Ranarangam waiting for clarity

Shoulder surgery for Sharwanand, who got injured while performing a stunt for the remake of ‘96’ in Thailand, has been successful. He has been shifted to ICU and will be discharged in couple of days. But he will not be available for the shoots for another two months. His speedy of recovery would decide when he should return to sets.
 
Given this uncertainty, the team of ‘Ranarangam’ has now stopped its promotional plans. Earlier plan was to release the movie’s teaser this week and release the movie on August 2nd. The shoot has been completed, and the dubbing work has almost been done. So, there is no major production work that requires Sharwanand’s presence. But whether he would be available for the promotional activity is not known.
 
So, director Sudheer Varma and producer Naga Vamsi will wait for another 10 days to ascertain the situation. ‘Ranarangam’ is a gangster drama that showcases two shades of a mafia man. Sharwanand is essaying this role. Kajal Aggarwal and Kalyani Priyadarshan are the female lead.
