Verdict on Arjun Reddy's Hindi version Kabir Singh

‘Kabir Singh’ is out. The film hit the screens today. ‘Kabir Singh’ is Hindi remake of Tollywood blockbuster ‘Arjun Reddy’. Sandeep Vanga who debuted as director with ‘Arjun Reddy’ has also directed the Hindi remake.
 
Featuring Shahid Kapoor in Vijay Deverkonda’s role and Kiara Advani as Shalini Pandey, ‘Kabir Singh’ has received mixed responses from Bollywood critics. Several critics have slammed the film for misogyny and given it 1.5 stars. On the flip side others have hailed the film and given it four stars. Shahid has performed well but nowhere close to Vijay Deverakonda.
