Pawan Kalyan opens up about worst defeat

Pawan Kalyan who is one of the most popular stars in India with crores of fans. It was expected that he would shake up the Andhra politics when he contested the polls but it was anti-climax. Not only had he lost in two seats that he had contested, his Jana Sena party secured just one seat in Andhra assembly.
This is worst and humiliating defeat for a powerful star like Pawan Kalyan. Contrary to media speculations and naysayers, he is unfazed by the defeat and is continuing in politics with long term goals. For the first time, he has openly spoken about his electoral defeat.
Speaking at TANA 2019 convention in Washington DC, Pawan Kalyan said, “it felt sad for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, I forgot the defeat and have decided to fight back. I have seen many failures in my life and they have become my stepping stones. I took this electoral defeat as a learning experience. I have stepped in politics to make difference in the people’s lives with long term goal.”
He has also reiterated that he will not return to acting in films anytime soon.
