Samantha starrer ‘Oh Baby’ has taken a great start at USA box-office. At a time when Telugu films are struggling to bring out the audiences to the theaters in USA, ‘Oh Baby’ has successfully managed to rake in more than half a million dollars in its first weekend.

The film has collected about $560k (Rs 3.80 Cr Gross) in its opening weekend. It has already brought profits to the distributor.

This is Samantha’s biggest opening as an actress with a female-centric movie. She couldn’t bring such opening with her earlier heroine-oriented movie ‘U Turn’.

Independence Day weekend in USA is one reason for such big opening. The fun quotient of the movie, reviews and good word-of-mouth are the other reasons.
