Sharwanand’s film Ranarangam has finally got its new release date. The film will come to theatres on August 15. Earlier it was rumoured that the film which was to release on August 2nd has been postponed. But the makers were silent.

Now Sudheer Varma has tweeted the new release date. “Brace yourselves fans & movielovers, This Independence Day #Sharwanand is going to bring back Gangster swag of 90's to the theatres near you!”

With new date announced the team might restart its promotion activity. So far the first song of the film has been released.

‘Ranarangam’ stars Sharwanand in a gangster’s role. Kajal Aggarwal and Kalyani Priyadarshan are the female lead. Popular Malayalam composer Prasanth Pillai is debuting in Tollywood with this film.
