Rana Daggubati flew to Chicago early this week along with his family. His health had deteriorated earlier this week and he needed a immediate kidney transplant.

Sources tell that Rana's kidney's transplant operation has been successful. His mother Lakshmi donated him a kidney. The entire Daggubati family is glad that the surgery went well and Rana is out of danger.

He will need rest for a month atleast. Rana might join shooting in September. His next film will be 'Virata Parvam' in the direction of Venu Udugala. Sai Pallavi will be the leading lady of this film.
