Superstar Rajinikanth has announced long back that he would leave the film industry and focus on politics. It has been two years since he announced his decision to float a political party but he is continuing signing films after films.
 
Rajinikanth is currently shooting for director Murugadoss’s ‘Darbar’ which will be hitting the screens Pongal 2020. Later he will team up with Tamil director Siva who is better known to Telugu audiences as the director of Telugu hits like ‘Souryam’, ‘Shankam’ and ‘Daruvuu’.
 
Rajinikanth seems to be more interested in acting in films than trying his luck in the world of politics.
