It is now pretty evident that Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya starrer ‘Venky Mama’ will compete with Megastar Chiranjeevi's ‘Sye Raa’. The real-life uncle and nephew have teamed up to essay the same roles in ‘Venky Mama’. Being directed by Bobby, the movie has wrapped up its shooting process and is now completing patchwork.

Earlier, it was planned for September 13 release but now the release date has been pushed to October 4. While ‘Sye Raa’ will hit the screens on October 2nd on the eve of Gandhi Jayanthi, ‘Venky Mama’ will release on October 4 eyeing Dussera holidays. 

‘Venky Mama’ is a masala entertainer with Raashi Khanna and Payal Rajput playing the female lead.
