Sharwanand starrer ‘Ranarangam’ got a good start at the box-office. The film hit the screens on August 15. Box-office reports suggest that the film made a superb opening at the ticket window. As per early estimates, the film collected about Rs 4 Cr share in its opening day which is huge for a Sharwanand starrer. 

At Hyderabad RTC X roads, which is considered as a barometer for the Telugu film business, the movie witnessed houseful boards for all four shows on the first day. It has to be seen how this film fares this today and this weekend. Since August 15 is a national holiday, the film witnessed a huge occupancy rate. 

Sharwanand’s previous film was a dud. Despite this fact, the production house Sitara Entertainments did aggressive promotion and created hype around it. Thus the film took good openings on Day 1. 

Directed by Sudheer Varma, ‘Ranarangam’ is a gangster drama.
