Nani not doing Rahul Ravindran's next

A hit film can bring many opportunities to an up and coming filmmaker. But if the same director makes a bad film (hit or flop is irrelevant) next, no hero would show interest to work with him. This is what is happening in the case of Rahul Ravindran, the actor turned director. ‘Manmadhudu 2’ was his second film as director. The romantic drama starring Nagarjuna tanked at the box-office and received a lot of flak for its awful double-meaning dialogues and adult content.
All the accolades the director won for his debut movie ‘Cha La Sow’ have gone in thin air now.
Though the director is boasting that he will direct Nani next, our sources have informed that Nani is not working with him. Nani already has other prior commitments with other directors. Nani who has readied ‘Gang Leader’ for release next month has recently commenced shooting for Indraganti’s ‘V’. Later, he will green-light a couple of other interest projects that are under discussion stage. He has not given any nod to Rahul Ravindran’s script, our sources have confirmed.
Though Rahul Ravindran won national award for the screenplay for his debut movie ‘Chi La Sow’, it will be tough for him to convince a big star now.
