Superstar Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer Shankar’s magnum opus ‘2.0’ took a decent start at the box-office in China. The film hit the screens this Friday. The sci-fi thriller was released in 48,000 screens across China.

As per early estimates, it has raked in $1.4 million in its first day. This is a good start for the film. ‘2.0’ hit the screens in India last November and it did good business here. Lyca Production that produced the film is expecting good money from China market. 

Shankar directed ‘2.0’ is a sequel to 2010 blockbuster ‘Robo’.
