Nani starrer ‘Gang Leader’ that premiered on Thursday night has taken a flying start at the US Box-office. The film is expected to be the second-highest premiere grosser among Nani’s movies. 

Of late, the USA market for Telugu movies is not great. Many movies had struggled to post good numbers despite winning good reviews and great word-of-mouth. In this scenario, the good start for ‘Gang Leader’ is encouraging.

Nani has a steady market in the USA. The film is directed by Vikram Kumar of ‘Manam’ fame. It narrates the story of a crime novel writer getting involved in a revenge saga. This is more of a comic revenge thriller.
