The Sankranthi 2020 race is super-tight right now. 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' is in the fray. Not to be left behind, 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo' is also there. These films will be joined by Nandamuri Balakrishna's KS Ravikumar flick, which is yet to be titled but which might not back off just because Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun are at the forefront of the race. Rajinikanth's 'Darbar', too, will release.  

Surprisingly, another Nandamuri family hero has joined the competition. Kalyanram's 'Entha Manchivadavura' is scheduled to release on January 15. Theatres are expected to back it, given two reasons: Aditya Music is producing it, and 'Entha Manchivadavura' is a family entertainer. Directed by Satish Vegesna, the film is banking on past history. Satish Vegesna’s previous hit ‘Shatamanam Bhavati’ too did well during Pongal competition.
