‘Sye Raa’ grossed an impressive 2.1 million in its long weekend (5 days +premiere). Released on October 1st, the North American audiences have showered love on the film on the day of premieres. However, despite better ratings from the critics and good word-of-mouth, ‘Sye Raa’ struggled a lot during the weekdays. 

At one time, trade was skeptical of it reaching a $2 million mark. But the impressive haul on Saturday made the film go past $2 million mark. This is second consecutive $2 million gross for a Chiranjeevi starrer after ‘Khaidi No 150’.

The Surender Reddy directed period drama collected $2.1 million by end of the Sunday. Its run in the next week will decide its overall fate.
