Is Tamannaah following Rashmika?

We have recently seen Rashmika essaying the role of a sportswoman in ‘Dear Comrade’. She was seen as Lilly, the woman cricketer. Now, Tamannah is following her and playing a sportswoman’s role in her next film.

If reports are to be believed, Tamannaah will be seen as a coach of the woman’s Kabaddi team. The film will be directed by Sampath Nandi. It was recently launched with much fanfare. 

The film stars Gopichand as the male lead. As Gopichand’s career in doldrums, Tamannah’s name will add star value to this project. Interestingly, she is essaying a role with substance.
