Actress Swetha Basu Prasad who is better known for her roles in such as ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’ and ‘Ride’ and her husband Rohit Mittal is getting divorced. Even before celebrating their first wedding anniversary, the couple has decided to split. They got married last year on December 13 but according to her differences between them happened six months after they were married.

Citing irreconcilable differences, Swetha is separating from Rohit. She announced this news on Instagram.

Swetha is popular for ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’ but she also hit the headlines when Hyderabad police arrested in a case. 

She posted on Instagram: “Rohit Mittal and I have mutually decided to part our ways and end our marriage. After months of contemplation, we arrived at this decision a few months ago in each others' best interest, as individuals. Not every book is supposed to be read cover to cover, that doesn't mean the book is bad, or one can't read, some things are just best left unfinished. Thank you Rohit for the irreplaceable memories and always inspiring me. Have a great life ahead, forever your cheerleader.”
