Vijay Deverakonda and director Puri Jagannadh’s ‘Fighter’ is all set to hit the floors in January 2020. This is their first collaboration. With reports coming in from Mumbai that Bollywood leading filmmaker Karan Johar has joined hands with Puri Jagannadh to produce this boxing drama in Hindi as well, we came to know another interesting news about this project. 

The film is a boxing drama. Vijay will be seen as a boxer who idolizes a famous champion. 

Puri Jagannadh has now come up with an idea to rope in a famous boxer to add hype to this movie. Someone suggested him to approach the legendary boxer Mike Tyson. The 53-year-old boxer is one of the richest sportsmen in the world. Would he agree to play a guest role in an Indian movie? But if Puri succeeds it will be the biggest casting coup.

‘Fighter’ will also have Janhvi Kapoor as the heroine. The film will have music by Mani Sharma. A major part of the movie will be shot in Mumbai.
