Boyapati to cut down the budget of NBK's movie

Unconfirmed reports in circulation about Nandamuri Balakrishna’s new film is that the producer is now reconsidering this project. The film was recently launched in the direction of Boyapati Srinu. The estimated budget is about Rs 75 crore. However, Balakrishna’s films are flopping badly now. ‘Ruler’ which released last week sank without a trace.
‘NTR Kathanayakudu’, ‘NTR Mahanayakudu’ and now ‘Ruler’… all three films brought heavy losses to the producers and distributors. ‘NTR Mahanayakudu’ registered just about Rs 3.50 Cr share at the box-office and ‘Ruler’ may not cross Rs 10 crore mark. Given such a low return on Balayya’s movies, producer Miriyala Ravinder Reddy doesn’t want to take a huge risk.
Boyapati may now come up with a new plan to make this film happen at any cost. He also does have limited options after the debacle of ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’. Insiders say the director is now planning to cut down the budget drastically.
