Is Akhil trying to rope in Harish Shankar?

Harish Shankar is working on his next film silently but there is a perception that he’s waiting for the call sheets of stars. In this backdrop, rumors began circulating that Harish has approached Akhil Akkineni for his next film. But the truth is far from it. 

The ‘Gaddhalkonda Ganesh’ director has already signed his next film for the production house Mythri Movie Makers and he also narrated a storyline to a big star with whom he had earlier worked. The star has reportedly given his nod to this story but he asked the director to wait some more time. Meanwhile, the big star will wrap up his prior commitments. This is why Harish is keeping a low profile. 

Akhil Akkineni is currently shooting for Bommarillu Bhaskar’s movie. His team is trying hard to lock a big director for his next project. But neither Akhil nor Harish have discussed yet for the possible collaboration yet, say a source.

On the other hand, Harish Shankar’s next will mostly be with this top star whose fans have been waiting for this combination to repeat the magic again as they did eight years ago with a huge blockbuster.
