Mahesh Babu makes huge gains in two weak areas

Mahesh Babu has made it clear that he needs rest. He wants to lie down at home and enjoy life. “I have been working nonstop for the last couple of years. I need a break. I need to come out of the fatigue and start afresh,” Mahesh Babu told the media in recent interviews.

Likewise, he is not going to start his next film immediately. He will commence it in late summer. The film will be directed by Vamshi Paidipally. Dil Raju will produce it. The script is still being prepared. 

Mahesh Babu will also listen to various scripts during this phase and lock one or two. He is happy with the outcome of ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ that not only became one of the biggest hits in recent times, but it also brought out the best numbers in two regions – Ceded and Vizag region, which was considered to be his weak areas. Both these areas have come up with strong numbers.

Even though the team has posted posters with bloated numbers, it is a fact that the film has performed strongly in these two regions, giving him gains overall. 

In the Vizag region, the share is more than Rs 16.50 crore, and the Ceded has contributed nearly Rs 14.50 crore, both are career-best figures. In Uttarandhra, this movie is all-time fourth highest grosser.
