Venkatesh’s ‘Naarappa’ is underway. The film is a remake of Tamil blockbuster ‘Asuran’ that starred Dhanush, Manju Warrier, and Ammu Abirami. Priyamani has been cast opposite Venkatesh which was originally essayed by Manju Warrier. Now, Amala Paul has been chosen to play the role that was done by Ammu Abirami.

Amala Paul was recently seen in ‘Aame’. Amala is also foraying in Bollywood with a Hindi web show that is produced by Mahesh Bhatt’s production company.

‘Naarappa’ is being directed by Srikanth Addala. A lengthy action schedule was recently canned in Kurumlalai, Tamilnadu.
