Amala Akkineni brought awareness about animal rights with the ‘Blue Cross’ organization in the early 1990s in Andhra Pradesh. Today, every other female celebrity is an animal lover. But only a few go the extra length to show their love towards stray dogs and pet animals. 

Rashmi Gautam is fast becoming this generation’s Amala. Or it seems so. 

Ever since lockdown has been announced, Rashmi didn’t stop talking about feeding dogs on the streets. She even runs into fights with her followers regarding this. She has now posted a video wherein she is seen providing food to street dogs. She stepped out of her home during this coronavirus period and feeding the dogs.
