Noted actor Shivaji Raja was admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad on Tuesday night after suffering a stroke. He is currently under observation in the ICU and his condition is said to be stable. Doctors are likely to place a stent in his heart on Thursday. 

He has done comic roles in several films. Of late, he is playing father roles. Shivaji Raja also served in the body of Movie Artistes’ Association (MAA) and unsuccessfully contested as its president.
