Tamannah's film confirmed for direct digital release

OTT and direct digital releases are the new buzzwords in the movie industry. Films that have been stuck at labs are now seeing the light of the day thanks to the OTT platforms.

One such film is ‘That is Mahalakshmi’, a Tamannaah starrer. The film that was to release two years ago in theaters is now finally having a direct digital release. 

Tamannaah starrer is part of four Southern remakes of Kangana Ranaut’s Bollywood hit ‘Queen’. While Kajal has acted in the Tamil version, Tamannaah is the heroine of the Telugu remake. 

The producers have reportedly clinched a deal with the OTT platform for releasing these remakes. Tamannaah’s film will not have a theatrical release.
