'Janatha Garage' will be having premiere shows in record number of screens on 31st August. The prints are already dispatched. Recently NTR’s movies are performing very well at USA box-office. His ‘Temper’ grossed more than one million dollars and ‘Nannaku Prematho’ become fourth biggest Telugu hit in USA as it grossed 2.1 million dollars.

So, the distributor of ‘Janatha Garage’ is hoping to cash in on the craze NTR has now and the buzz the movie has generated thanks to director Koratala’s name. The distributor is expecting record figure for premiere shows. Even NTR is hoping that the movie grosses about three million dollars by end of its run.

NTR has played the role of Anand, an IIT educated nature lover. The movie has Samantha and Nithya Menen as heroines.
