Rana grew his beard for S S Rajamouli then. He was playing a crucial role in the film 'Baahubali 2' as Bhallaladeva. Rana has completed his portions in the film and moved on to his next film in which he will play a guest role. The actor wanted a new look and was eager to remove that hair on this face and go for clean shaven look and start shooting for Teja's directorial venture.

Not so fast Rana! The makers of '1945', a bilingual movie starring Regina as the heroine, have asked him to keep the beard. In this film he will be playing a lengthy guest role and beard is required say the team for that period look. 

So for Regina's movie Rana has dropped off idea of chopping his beard, only after completing a week's shoot for Regina, he will go for new look and start shooting for Teja.
