While Rajamouli is making 'Baahubali 2' with a reported budget of Rs 250 Cr and Shankar is filming '2.0' with Rajinikanth with an estimated budget of Rs 300 cr, now Ram Gopal Varma announces India's most expensive film ever.

RGV is making a new film titled 'Nuclear' that will be produced with a record Rs 340 Cr. Well, it is RGV who is claiming that the film will be made with such budget as it is his first 'international movie'.

"I have been an avid and voracious reader of both fiction and nonfiction but never in my life until now, have I come across a subject matter like NUCLEAR. Yes it's going to be much more costly than the most expensive film ever made in India and the reason for that is because the subject matter truly demands that it is filmed on a scale never before seen," said Ram Gopal Varma.

The film will be made by CMA Global. Our entire group after extensive discussions, felt that Ram Gopal Varma is the most perfect choice to direct NUCLEAR going by his tremendous understanding of the subject matter, says the production house CMA Global.

Currently RGV is directing Amitabh Bachchan starrer 'Sarkar 3'.
