Gunasekhar's next grand movie: Hiranyakashipa

After directing a historical biopic of Kakatiya ruler 'Rudhrama Devi', Gunasekhar is now all set to direct a mythological movie. He earlier announced to make sequel to 'Rudhrama Devi' but he has postponed it to 2018. Sources close to this project spilled some interesting info.
Gunasekhar narrated the story of 'Pratapa Rudra' to a top hero in Tollywood and he is said to given his nod to this project but the hero wants to do it in 2018, as he wants to complete his commitments. So in the meantime, Gunasekhar has come up with another interesting idea.
The director of hits 'Okkadu' and 'Choodalandi Undi' is now planning to direct 'Hiranyakashipa', a story of Bhakta Prahlada. But instead of making the movie like earlier classics, he has chosen to tell the story in point of view of 'Hiranyakashipa', the demon.
'Hiranyakashipa - The Story of Bhakta Prahlad' title was registered recently at Film Chamber of Commerce on his Gunaa Team Works banner.
International big movie studios are retelling the classics in fresh way using the latest technology, Gunasekhar is also inspired by this trend. Recently Hollywood retold classic 'Jungle Book' and now another popular classic 'Beauty and the Beast' is being brought by Walt Disney in 2017. The source informs that Gunasekhar has been working on this project for the past few months and he is re-imagining with new-age treatment.
Our sources say he has roped in a big star for the role of Hiranyakashipu but it is yet to be finalised officially. The role of Prahlada will be played by a child artiste. Currently he is in talks with couple of big stars.
