Suriya starrer S3 aka Yamudu 3  was to release on the festive occassion of Christmas, but now the film has been postponed. Actor Suriya tweeted regarding postponement. He wrote, “Dear all! #S3 stands postponed due to several external factors not under our control!Believe it's for the larger good!Need all your support!”

Directed by Hari, this film has Shruti Haasan and Anushka Shetty as female leads. Like in the earlier two installments of this film, in this too Suriya is playing a cop in this film.
