Venkatesh is waiting for 'Guru' to be released. The film which was remake of 'Saala Khaddoos' completed its shoot a month ago and is slated for 26th Jan release. Meanwhile, buzz is that he has dropped off doing his next movie with director Kishore Tirumala.

On the other hand news is spilling out that Venkatesh is more inclined towards director Krish's new project, which is socio-fantasy flick. Venkatesh has affinity towards such movies. In the past, he did 'Deviputrudu'. Post the success of 'Kanche' and all the buzz surrounding about the upcoming release 'Gauthamiputra Satakarni', all big stars are trying to team up with director Krish.

Buzz is that Krish has narrated a big budgeted socio-fantasy story to Venky and the star liked it immensely. It remains to be seen whether this would take place immediately, or would Venky do another movie in the gap?
