Srikanth Addala recalls his association with Ganesh Patro

Today (Jan 6) is death anniversary of the famous writer Ganesh Patro who penned dialogues for classics like 'Maro Charitra' and 'Guppedu Manasu'. He also worked for Srikanth Addala's 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirmalle Chettu'. Addala recalls his association with Patro.
In his own words...
He is man of great knowledge. He created great roles for renowned directors. I found my writing skills are not helpful in developing the idea of 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' into a good script. Then I had decided to approach Ganesh Pathro sir as I have been fan of his movies. I went to Chennai to meet him at his residence. I saw his wife MAHALAKSHMI too, actually I don't know her exact name but in my frame of mind I have imagined her like! The journey with him was so much fun; I used to play with him like his grandson. He liked me so much. He had aversion to hypocrites luckily I never dared to be a part among them. His values were in high standards that's why I could see he created many masterpieces. He always told me to remember this line - "RESPECT THE AUDIENCE " and those words are still making sense of what I am here for and what I meant to be. Thank you so much sir for giving an amazing opportunity to write about him and here I am reliving the moments I shared with him.
