Putting an end to confusion, the makers of Venkatesh's 'Guru' have now locked a release date. The film was to release on 26th January but it was later postponed. 7th April is the date they have locked for the release, says a unit member. 

'Guru' is one of the most-awaited movies this year. It stars Venkatesh as boxing coach, while Ritika Singh has played his disciple. Being directed by Sudha Kongara, the movie is remake of super hit 'Saala Khadoos'.

Venkatesh crooned a song called 'Jingidi Jingidi' that is topping the chartbusters. This is the first time that he sang for a film. It has Santosh Narayan as music director. 

Set in the backdrop of Vizag, 'Guru' is produced by Y Not Studios.
