Director Nag Ashwin's biopic of great actress 'Savitri' is gearing up for launch. Titled 'Mahanati', the movie stars Keerthy Suresh as Savitri and Samantha will play a key role. 
To be produced by Ashwini Dutt on his prestigious production house Vyjayanthi Movies, the movie will commence regular shoot shortly.

On the eve of Women's day today, a poster featuring Savitri's pic, Keerthy Suresh and Samantha was released. Samantha tweeted, "Happy women's day my beautiful , strong ,empowered sisters. Thankyou #NagAshwin for this .@VyjayanthiFilms @KeerthyOfficial Looking forward!"

Nag Ashwin shot to fame with Nani starrer 'Yevade Subramanyam'. The film will be made in Telugu and Tamil languages.
